Use of the DioliteTM laser is a quick and effective way to treat vascular and pigmented lesions. Examples include broken blood vessels, raised red spots and rosacea. Normal daily activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.
ClearLight™ is a unique therapeutic light that treats moderate inflammatory acne by using innovative technology to destroy the most common bacteria that causes it. The treatments are completely painless and safe and patients won’t experience the side effects which often accompany conventional drug therapy.
BOTOX® is a popular treatment for facial lines/wrinkles and hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating). Overuse of muscles for facial expressions can cause frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead lines and crows feet around the eyes. The injection of a small amount of BOTOX® into these areas causes weakness or paralysis of the muscle which will improve the lines or wrinkles that the muscle action formed.
Fillers are injectable products used to treat the unwanted lines and shadows that form on our faces from age related volume loss. For many people, the use of fillers has a rejuvenating effect and is a minimally invasive alternative to surgical procedures. Examples of areas where fillers are used include the nasolabial folds (to soften the lines that go from the nose to the corners of the mouth), the oral commissures (to provide support to prevent the downward turn of the lips), the marionette lines (to soften the lines that project from the corners of the mouth toward the jawline), the tear trough (to improve the indentations under our eyes) and the perioral area (to improve the lines that form from pursing of the lips or smoking). Fillers can also be used to correct acne scars and to give fullness to the lips. The fillers NMPG currently offers are collagen, Restylane®, Juvederm®, Perlane®, Radiesse® and Sculptra™. Your doctor will decide which product is right for you.
Chemical peels remove the dull, dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. They improve the texture of the skin and can minimize the appearance of fine lines and superficial scars. Acne, rosacea, oily skin and enlarged pores can improve as well.
This treatment uses a laser diode to permanently reduce unwanted hair from the face and body. This laser is able to treat various skin and hair types. Best results are achieved with several treatments done at specific intervals. A consultation with your doctor will determine if you are a candidate and a treatment regime will be created.
LATISSE™ solution is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker, and darker. The onset of effect with Latisse™ solution is gradual. In the clinical trial, the majority of Latisse™ users saw significant improvement by 2 months. Latisse™ has been approved by the FDA as a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes. It also has been studied in clinical trials to demonstrate its safety and effectiveness. Latisse™ can be aquired by booking a complimentary consultation with our clinical esthetician.
This laser is used for photorejuvenation. It is used primarily to treat unwanted red (blood vessels or rosacea) and brown (from freckles and other “sunspots”) discoloration in the skin.
A medical facial consists of three steps, cleansing of the skin, extractions and a therapeutic mask. The purpose of a medical facial is to provide an improved appearance of the skin. It can thoroughly eliminate blockages of the pores and provide temporary hydration.
